Nadia & Juwan eloped on the top of Sugarloaf Mountain on a late summer's day at sunset. It was one of the most romantic sessions I've ever been a part of. We got SO lucky - the afternoon was threatening rain, but what was a dark cloudy sky turned into a brilliant fiery backdrop for their photos.
It was SO special to witness the profound and beautiful promises they made to each other on top of that mountain. I'll just say - these two are clearly made for one another.
After they exchanged vows and we took some sunset portraits, we headed back down the mountain - IN THE DARK. What could have a scary situation turned out to be a long, fun conversation about our lives, our goals, and our travels. Nadia and I *even* agreed that in the spring we're taking dance lessons together! I'm excited :)
I LOVED this session because it combined my love for love, my love for adventure, and my love for photography. I am hoping to do another one of these ASAP! If you, or someone you know, is looking for an elopement photographer - and you'd like to tie in an adventure element - I'm your gal!!
