Full disclosure: this is my cousin and her ADORABLE family. So if I seem biased, it's because I am!!
Bridget is more like a sister to me, so Miles feels a lot like a nephew. And with that feeling came a whole lot of gushing, endless smiles and also the inability to focus - hehe. But focus I did and I am beyond thrilled with how these photos turned out!!
I met Bridget and Morgan at their home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Because of Covid, they were adamant about doing photos outside in their neighborhood and that was totally fine by me. This gallery is a great example of how we can do a full newborn session AT home in YOUR neighborhood!
The drive down from DC was stormy and full of traffic - which certainly caused some anxiety for me. But by some stroke of luck, a rainy afternoon turned into a beautiful evening with wild clouds and glorious golden late summer light. They live in a relatively new development, some of which is still under construction. And because of that, we stumbled upon a BEAUTIFUL dirt road - which mostly serves as a means for trucks to get in and out - but for us it was a magical session location. With overgrown wildflowers, a mountain scape in the distance, lush greenery all around. It was just perfect.
Gosh, I love these three to pieces. And seeing them was such a great reminder to cherish your people during this weird time - (air) hug them tight, tell them you love them, and be PRESENT in every little moment you're with them.
Love and virtual hugs,
